Philadelphia, PA --- On August 25, 2011, at 11:37am, three unknown males entered the Dollar Store located at 3521 Germantown Avenue. Two of the men brandished handguns. The employee refused the first suspect's request for money, so two of the suspects began pistol whipping the clerk and then fled on foot in an unknown direction. Nothing was taken from the store. The first suspect was a black male, 5'8", with a thin build, and wearing a red hoody, black jeans, black sneakers armed with a handgun. The second suspect was likewise a black male, 5'8", with a thin build and wearing a grey hoody, blue jeans, black sneakers armed with a handgun. The third suspect was also a black male, approximately 6' wearing a white "T" shirt, blue jeans and a black hat. Note that he was obviously an accomplice. He was clearly anticipating a robbery. Notice that he looked towards the man in red several times before a gun was even revealed. If you see these suspects, do not approach them but call 911 immediately.
